We’re proud to be one of the sponsors and members of the Event Cinema Association (ECA) as they host their third annual ECA Conference for exhibitors, distributors, content providers and affiliate technical partners within the event cinema (alternative content) industry.

Taking place on 19 October at the brand new Picturehouse Central, Piccadilly Circus in the heart of Londons’ West End, the conference will bring together the diverse range of members within the ECA and celebrate achievements in event cinema over the past year.

ECA attendants and programme

The ECA conference will feature several panel discussions as well as breakout sessions, including a session on the relationship between social media and event cinema with Adam Rubins and Daniel Heale of Way To Blue. This year’s edition will also feature a trade show for consumer goods companies for the first time; exhibitors will include Cadbury’s, Mondelez, Nestlé and Scavi & Ray prosecco. Mark Walukevich, SVP of the international film at National Amusements, will host a talk about growing event cinema in developing markets. While, other sessions will tackle content delivery in a multi-format environment, outdoor cinema and growing the event cinema footprint, gaming in cinemas and projections for the future, hosted by David Hancock of IHS and Lucy Jones of Rentrak.

You can find the full event schedule here.
