Join InPlayer at INTIX Live! 2021 Digital Conference.

Jan 26, 2021 | By InPlayer

If the last year has reaffirmed for us anything about the entertainment and ticketing industry, it’s that the show truly must – and can – go on.

As the 42nd annual INTIX event, which will run through January 29th, is now underway, we’re excited to again have the opportunity to join ticketing professionals to celebrate our successes, share innovations and inspire each other to expand the reach and capabilities of the industry. And because the International Ticketing Association has transitioned the traditional in-person conference and exhibition into a fully virtual experience, we’re just as excited to share the new format which has an important stake in the future of live streaming events.

InPlayer will be discussing exactly that topic in INTIX’s live Q&A general session on Friday, entitled “Live Stream Ticketing: Setting the Stage for the Future” on January 29 from 10:30-11:30 EST. Chelsey Rushworth, our very own chief revenue officer, has more than a decade of experience creating and optimizing profit streams in online video, mobile and connected TV environments. She will headline this discussion along with other special guest speakers Brian Bauer and Maggie Seidel-Laws who will bring their expertise to an open forum that allows for audience engagement and deeper insight into what’s just over the horizon in the ticketing industry:

Bauer, nominated to Nashville Business Journal’s “Top 40 Under 40” and tabbed as a member of Nashville’s Next A-List, is an entertainment marketer, entrepreneur, and president of Bauer Entertainment Marketing. With experience as a band manager and drummer who has shared the stage with artists such as Chris Stapleton, Cage the Elephant and Dhani Harrison, Bauer has a well-earned knowledge of all sides of the entertainment business that he’ll share at INTIX.

Seidel-Laws is a 15-year veteran of the live entertainment industry who has worked as a producer and promoter, and who last spring launched VYE, a live-stream startup for which she serves as CEO. Seidel-Laws will discuss the challenges and successes associated with providing clients with live, digital PPV experiences during the pandemic – and what shape they’ll take in the future.

The discussion will encompass the following topics:

The guest experts will be on hand to answer your questions about the rise of live-streamed virtual events in 2020 and their long-term viability (including hybrid events). The discussion will cover content, merchandising and tech, as well as marketing strategy and monetizing events – all the considerations, preparations and tools you’ll need to make the most of live-stream ticketing moving forward.
