Nov 23, 2015 | By InPlayer

We are happy to announce that we are further strengthening our partnership with Kaltura, provider of the leading video technology platform, by integrating our monetization technology solution into the Kaltura Management Console (KMC) and Kaltura MediaSpace™ (KMS) solutions.

Kaltura is a recognized leader in the OTT TV (Over the Top TV), OVP (Online Video Platform), EdVP (Education Video Platform) and EVP (Enterprise Video Platform) markets, and has emerged as the fastest growing video platform, and as the one with the widest use-case and appeal, deployed across enterprises, media companies, service providers and educational institutions.

Kaltura also provides the world’s only Video-Platform-as-a-Service, which serves start-ups, technology platforms and cloud providers with full video capabilities and solutions, based on Kaltura’s robust APIs. The company is also an initiator and backer of the leading open-source video management project, home to more than 100,000 community members. The KMS platform lets video publishers easily publish high-quality video content with minimum setup. It can be used by enterprises for encouraging corporate culture through videos; media companies to build video portals; educational organizations to publish lectures and let students interact online.

With the InPlayer integration, any Kaltura customer can immediately activate in-video paywall and monetization tools for their video content with few simple steps within the Kaltura Products. Apart from the PPV model, with the new InPlayer tools publishers are able to increase the value from their free content as well. The Donation app will help users collect donations directly through videos and, they can use the Data Capture app as a registration wall, asking for user data (name, email, age, etc.) before granting access to the free content.

Jean-Charles Lacoste, InPlayer CEO says, “With Kaltura MediaSpace publishers can now create YouTube-like websites and work on their online presence in a very simple and straightforward way. And now with the integration of InPlayer, publishers are able to start monetizing their new gallery style mini-sites at the push of a button. Our partnership with Kaltura is going from strength to strength and benefitting the ever-growing number of video publishers – with online video increasingly the norm as global IP video traffic is estimated to reach 79% of all consumer internet traffic in 2018.”

“The consumption of online, mobile and social video is exploding,” says, Zohar BabinManaging DirectorVPaaS, Ecosystem, and Community at Kaltura. “Video publishers are increasingly looking for ways to optimize their business strategy and monetize their digital assets, from analytics and reporting to advertising tools, pay-per–view and subscription models. Partnerships with monetization technology providers like InPlayer allow publishers access to secure, easy-to-use paywall services directly within their trusted Kaltura environment.”

We are excited to have an even stronger relationship with Kaltura and look forward to assisting clients and get the best value from their content utilizing the end-to-end solution.
