The award-winning Carducci Quartet presents an American-themed programme of chamber music, combining works by two of America’s most celebrated composers with one of the most beloved String Quartets in the repertoire.
Philip Glass’s meditative and mesmeric Third Quartet, ‘Mishima’ and Dvorak’s Quartet No. 12, fondly known as ‘The American’ sit alongside Samuel Barber’s Dover Beach’, performed by wonderful young bass-baritone Frederick Long, as well as VOCES8 performing ‘Sacred Heart’ by Ola Gjeilo.
You can join us as we watch this beautiful performance on the 28th of February at 2 pm EST.
