Event Preview: SportsPro OTT USA Summit 2021.

Feb 24, 2021 | By InPlayer

The premier networking and thought-leadership event in over-the-top media is available to all, free of charge, and streamed to a global audience: On March 3-4, industry leaders and influencers from the most significant leagues, networks and companies in sports will gather for the SportsPro OTT USA Summit, and InPlayer will have a prominent seat at the virtual table.

More than 100 industry experts will share their knowledge and experiences in over 50 online sessions, including keynote discussions, fireside chats, panel debates and tech showcases. The summit will focus on three key themes: strategy, content and technology. Because the disruption to the sports industry in 2020 demanded the swift adoption of remote broadcast technology, a re-examining of live rights’ values and new approaches to commercial strategies, this event will be a can’t-miss opportunity for professionals whose work is touched by over-the-top media to examine and discuss recent changes – and those to come – in an invaluable forum setting.

Our featured session, co-hosted by InPlayer Chief Revenue Officer Chelsey Rushworth, is currently scheduled for March 3 at 9:15 a.m. PST / 12:15 p.m. ET / 5:15 p.m. GMT. The 45-minute session, entitled “Driving Growth and Avoiding Churn,” will also feature Major League Baseball Chief Operations and Strategy Officer Chris Marinak and National Women’s Soccer League Chief Revenue Officer Mitch Poll. Chelsey and the session’s fellow speakers will walk participants through steps to grow awareness, maintain subscribers and satisfy diverse OTT audiences.

Additional sessions will cover topics such as how gambling is expected to affect the OTT and broadcast industries, including the earning potential and useful data to be gained; the importance of original storytelling, as well as the investments and innovations involved in creating original content; and the impact of 5G on the fan experience.

Registration for a free Live Event Pass offers the user live content access, technology showcase access and virtual exhibition and partner access. With a VIP pass ($199), a user has additional access to on-demand content, networking opportunities and the event’s VIP attendee list.
